FAQ
Fair questions, straight answers.
The things people ask before they work with us: how quotes and timelines work, what happens after launch, and who owns what. If your question is about a specific service, each service page answers those too.
Quotes and pricing
How does getting a quote work?
Tell us what you’re trying to build, fix, or figure out, through the quote form or by email. We’ll usually come back with a few questions, sometimes a short call, and then send a plan with a clear price for the whole job. No pressure, no obligation.
Why aren’t there prices on the site?
Because no two projects are the same size. A five-page website and a custom app that runs your operations are different jobs, and a one-size price tag would be wrong for both. You’ll know the full cost before any work begins.
What affects the cost?
Scope, mostly: how many pages or features, whether we’re writing the words and gathering the photos, whether something custom needs to be built, and how much ongoing care you want after launch. When you ask for more down the road, we quote that too, so there are no surprise bills.
Process and timelines
How long does a project take?
Every quote comes with a timeline. A straightforward website usually takes a few weeks from first conversation to launch, driven mostly by how quickly words, photos, and feedback come together. Custom software takes longer, and we’ll tell you honestly how much.
What do you need from us?
Less than you might expect: a real conversation about how your business works, whatever photos and documents you already have, and honest feedback on drafts. If writing isn’t your thing, we can write the words for you.
What happens at launch?
We put the site live on your domain, make sure search engines can find it, and test it on real phones. Then the looking-after starts: launch day is the beginning of the relationship, not the end of it.
Aftercare and support
What does “looked after” actually mean?
Hosting, software updates, cybersecurity, monitoring, and backups, handled quietly in the background as part of how we work. You don’t have to remember any of it, and you don’t have to juggle a second vendor to get it.
What happens when something breaks?
Tell us and we get on it, and the problems that stop you from working come first. Monitoring catches many issues before anyone notices them, which is the point: you shouldn’t have to think about your technology.
How do updates and small changes work?
Send us the change: new menu prices, a staff photo, a fresh page. For clients on ongoing care, routine content updates are part of the arrangement rather than a new bill, and most are turned around quickly.
Working with us
Do we need to be near Creston?
We’re based in Creston and serve businesses and towns across Eastern Washington. Most of the work happens remotely and quickly; when a job needs someone on site, we drive out.
Who owns the website when it’s done?
You do. The domain is yours, the content is yours, and nothing we build is held hostage. If you ever choose to leave, your site goes with you.
Can you work with what we already have?
Yes. Wherever it makes sense we build on your existing site, tools, and accounts, and we only recommend replacing something when it’s genuinely holding you back.
We’re a town, church, or nonprofit rather than a business. Is that a fit?
Very much so. Local governments, churches, and nonprofits are a big part of our work; the Town of Creston and Creston Christian Church are both published case studies. The same standards apply, sized to your budget.
Questions about a specific service?
Each service page answers the questions particular to that work, from response times to what a rebuild involves.
Didn’t find your answer?
Ask us directly. Tell us what you’re working on and we’ll answer plainly, whether or not it turns into a project.
